Whispers In the Night
Cold and lonely comes twilight,
to creep among the eves.
To brush against the window panes,
rustle amongst the leaves.
Hush now, hear the calling,
of voices on the wind.
They speak to you only,
of death, they do portend.
So sleep not on this moon.
Keep vigil within the light.
Hold thy candle true against,
the whispers in the night.
