Notes About The Poem

Whispering Willows

Whispering willows
weeping at gold-plum sunset,
beneath the pink moon.
Dusk discretely darkening,
soft steps in green carpeting.

Trailing blue waters
tangled in hued destiny,
and the hint of breeze
as tones appear, then vanish;
at eventide, outlandish!

I love Weeping Willows, I love Weeping Willow poems. And I thoroughly enjoyed your story couplet skills shining in a tanka - wonderful imagery, Evelyn. Poetry hugs ... CayCay
