Whisper To Scream
Last night I heard a whisper knocking on my window’s cold glass
The whisper waited with serenity and patience
To identify the whisper I closed my eyes
I listened intently to decipher the mysterious voice
Distractions caught me in my way
Preventing me from identifying the inexplicable sway
Years passed and the whisper was forgotten
But one day, a loud scream escaped a shadow’s pain
A scream crying for help and aid
This time, I ran towards the scream before it fades
Wind escorted me to the righteous path
Suddenly, smoke obscured the sky with wrath
I looked down to see
A man protecting his family
A woman covering her children’s eyes
Houses destroyed
Roads invaded by monstrous machines
A life fractured and controlled by fiends…
