Whisper To Me
Whisper to me of all that is warm
The cold is too hard to bear
Whisper to me of all that is whole
The shattered pieces are strewn everywhere
Whisper to me of the song you hum
Every word echo’s back to my soul
Whisper to me of wind on your face
And the sun chasing the clouds away
Whisper to me while I rest my head on your shoulder
hearing your heart beat slow
Whisper to me while I hold on tight
That you will never let me go
Whisper to me of the grand plans that you have
to shine on like a bright star at night
Whisper to me of memories made
Of this beautiful life we lived
Whisper to me this one last time
You’ll wait for me with open arms
When it’s time for me to go.
