_By Poet_ Here is a simple list Of the whispers that exist... A gentle, soothing sound that calms A child in their parent's arms. An intimacy shared between just two Echoing the sentiment, "I love you." The way we speak around those who sleep. A way to pacify those who weep. The way classmates talk when silence is required. The communication had when a life has expired. A secret shared between two friends. A voice in a head that never ends. A memory of someone special at heart Who we carry through each life's part... Softly, softly the whispers are there If we listen closely, each whisper we'll hear.
