Whisper

WHISPER

Whisper it softly,
Whisper her name.
Whisper, “I love you.”
Shh .. don’t say it out loud.
I want her to know
But afraid what she’d say.
Suppose she just laughs
And walks away?
So I’ll whisper it softly.
