Soft and gentle, like southern rain
Still as the embers, breathless
In the fire’s dream – lasting beyond
Graceful wisdom who portrays the eventual
Healing, the flaming gestures in the blaze,
Secrets revealed as the heart embraces
Away all the lost memories, the reflections
To blame for the melancholic urgency,
Inviting the gray, the misty mountain promises
Echoing in the intimacy of a whisper,
Alive like the soothing, the tender – the miracles
Preventing darkness from dimming the truth,
The light that solves fears with courage – daring
Taken from the root of a life who knows
The way to bravery comes to life in the distance
Imagined in skies resting like amazement,
In the past – along the edges silhouetted by
Love that saves the heart from its dark,
Embracing away the weariness of a worry,
The embers of the fury – where only the light
Can truly earn the word – whispering through
Peace, flavoring the pain with sensitivity,
Soothing the hues with brilliant themes, poetry
Hurled to the wind, like a thief who steals
The rest and brings angst to stir up the flames,
Silencing the beauty, piercing through the night
Like a glistening star’s finger troubles the heart,
Enchanting, yet gazing beyond the meaning
Of wishes, where the past meets the moment
With intimate words, breathed quietly, like peace
Taking away the shadow and leaving the shape
Whisper of hope, painting the dark in faith –
Awakening the alive in grace, dancing through the
Flames, taking away all the angst with wisdom’s
Desire rising through the fire in a whisper, a sigh
This is the wonder of life’s enthusiasm, the passion
In the smile, the fervor in the last mile,
The spirit of God who abides in the silence
Whisper of insight and inspiration, imagination
The bonfire of history burning away the past,
Wiping away all the dirt, replacing it with fresh
New praise for the One who made us all
The One who meets the heart…
in the whisper of a thought
