Whirlwind of September

,

S _ September circles 'round us like the crisp, rustling leaves

E_ Ending with a whirlwind of dwindling summer

P_ Painting a palette of bold, vibrant colors,

T_ Tossing and turning with the wiles of her ways…

E_ Evenings arrive with a whisper of chill

M_ Mist in the mornings, and rust on the hill

B_ Bluer the skies, and shorter the days

E_ Echoes of school bells are calling to say,

R_ Rich is the bounty, of autumn’s display….

Nicely rhymed, Carrie. YOu sure formatted it wonderfully to show it off. I wonder if it's better to repeat that first letter of each line the way you do! Nice visuals.Luv, Andrea

I will not say that you should get first place because if I say you should get first place, I may jinx you... This is just fricking awesome! A Shape poem of whirlwind letters, and rust on the hill is just "MAW!" she says, kissing her fingertips! Way to go, rockstar! From Cyndi
