Where You Hide

Remembering what we were in the calm before, leads me to where you hide when the storm hits. What I was to you is my guide, the dotted line, what you were to me is my clarity, the x-marking the spot in which you sit, buried with our end, suffocating in our lonely beginnings. Who we once were is nothing compared to the glimmer of what is yet to come. I felt you underneath the pressure of what we should’ve been, I dug while recalling what we were. You began to push against all that kept us apart, that’s how I know you were waiting for me to find you. Where you hide.

Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." The Lord's blessings be with you.
