Where Will I Be?
In the deepness of my reverie I see the future dim,
With twists and turns I can not guess,
Possibilities great and grim.
Through the depths of thoughts I can’t explain and trains I can not catch.
There is a future I can not see
An end I can not guess.
When all is said and all is done and I have run my course,
When left and right, and right and wrong no longer is a choice
Where will I be when the end comes and I have made my bed,
Where will I lay at the end of ends when all is done and said?
From the deepness of my reverie the future is a blur
There is an end that I can not see,
Good or bad I am not sure.
Through depths of pros I can not weigh, and cons which hurt my heart,
There is a balance which will be made
As my life completes its chart.
At the end of all the “might have been”'s and “never, ever were”'s
After every mistake has been made along with rights that felt so sure,
Once the a, b, c’s have all been picked and the answers are cued in,
Where will I be when the last sand falls and I have reached my end?
