Where we meet
Even though my lips sing the lyrics of a song, my voice yearns for another name. It is a constant calling for you, discreetly hiding under every word I release in melody. Pay heed — listen closely — and somewhere between the lines, in the silence wrapped by the tune, it is heard the loudest.
I merge you with my art so it feels like my own. A pair of sharp ears and the slightest urge to search is all it takes. Sometimes I have broken my thoughts of you into fragments and scattered them through my dance, sometimes I have woven your silhouette as the muse of my drawings.
Even when we are apart, you exist within me. And through my art, I present our love to the world.
That is where we are one.
