Where Was I
I was abandoned in a new place
there were so many alien faces
Thought it was my life's final phase
There, the flowers bloomed in different hues
Bright sun rays embraced the dew
Everything and everyone was so true
I discerned some true faces with no masks
who spoke straight from their hearts
who never interfered in other tasks
I did glimpse my ancestors wander
"Am I in Heaven? Am I dead?" I pondered
"No,Not really",heard a mellow voice yonder
"So, This must be a dream", I solaced
"No,Not really", again a voice interrupted
"This is a nightmare", I cried
"It's not you here
It's your alter ego
that frequently visits us"
the voice expounded.
"But just tell me
where am I?", I adjured!
None replied and I came back
But I still wonder, where was I!
