Where Is the Sauce Dear
‘I cannot find the sauce dear, I need it for my supper’,
‘It’s on the lower shelf’ she cried ‘or maybe it’s the upper?’
‘Which upper shelf do you mean dear, the cupboard near the door?’
‘No it’s in the other cupboard love, on the bottom near the floor!’
‘I cannot find the sauce dear, I can only see the sugar!’
‘It’s in the other cupboard love, the one beside the cooker.’
‘The one we keep the rice in with the tea bags and the honey?’
‘Yes you silly fool’ she screamed ‘now this really isn’t funny!’
She waltzed into the kitchen quick, with thunder in her stride.
‘Just look a little closer love, take a look inside.
Can you see the rice love?’ He answered ‘I suppose!’
‘The sauce is there in front of it, two inches from your nose!’
