Where Is Nessie

Where are you, Nessie? You, have lived so long, an eternal legend… Neptune’s companion. Have humans murdered you? Has oil’s black-death, slick suffocated you? Perhaps Fukushima’s burn, has scorched your scales or completely, nuked you? Oceans of man-made chemicals, frack-cracked earth may have fried you, as you swam, unsuspecting. Toxic, boiling waters, are no way to die. Such a death, lacks the dignity deserved, by a millennia-old soul. Where are you, Nessie? Perhaps your wisdom, Could save us all…

If "Nessie" still lives she is not one creature alone...but rather one of many. Loch Ness is more than likely connected to the sea by subterranean tunnels; it is very likely that there are distant little communities of these ancient creatures dotted all over the world on every continent and in their respective seas and oceans. Makes one wonder does it not? My best regards, M. L. Kiser. :) john

Thanks John; that would be so wonderful; to have many, "Nessie's" all around the planet. I hate it when anything goes extinct; especially since every plant and animal had a distinct purpose in keeping the balance on our planet.

Nessie is doing fine ML, she resides in Loch Ness, about 6 miles from where Eloisa & I stay. Always love poetry about our Nessie, smiles wide does I - :)

I do hope that we never know what Nessie and others like her, are. Too many want to catch, kill and study the remains and if she does exist, (or he); she's peaceful and I say: "Live and let live". Thanks for the comment, James.

ML, What a message to mankind about the state of our Earth. I agree with Jan that Nessie is probably still alive and well in Loch Ness, but if she could speak to us, she would definitely speak volumes!! A FAVE. Cheers and Best, Gary

Quite possibly although, I hope we never know; the mystery is too precious. Glad you stopped by.
