Where Infinity Lies

Between the sea And the mountains that seem To hold hands Refusing to let go Of each other's ties For together is the home that lasts While at the same time Bathing their feet In the love of deep blue sea. A place of serenity That once seized One comes to feel infinity Watching the tides Moving onward to the shore As they have done For thousands of years and more Protecting all life For it knows its size. Many have come and go I suppose But the land remained The mountains have kept their hands Together, hoping some day Some will catch on to their message It is here one can know peace That holding hands enhance That the sea from the moment of first glance Has been so in love with Reaching out to this eternal bliss In tidal waves of Everlasting love. The sea does always make us reflect on my place in the vast universe, Caroline. We realize that our lives are so fleeting while the the Earth, its oceans and all aspects of God's creation have an eternal quality to them. Beautifully written and I can relate to this message. Love, Carolyn
