Where I Live
The place I live is inside of my head
A somewhat beautiful place of the mind
From beginning to end the state it's in
Is the home in which I tend to unwind
Where I go inside close the door of life
On all the people, the places, and things
With knocks on my door, won't answer for sure
Don't need or want what that salesman might bring
Just leave me alone in my happy home
Where the minds city lights are ever bright
Sipping my tea in my own company
In all the wonderful flavors it finds
Where do I live, do you need even ask
But of course it's in my own state of mind
