Where do Teardrops Go

As molten drops of wax running down from a dying candle, drops of tears left her eye’s boundary making their way down and fell on the floor without a sound, crashing into pieces, showing the depth of ache her heart refuses to disclose. A crystal stream flowing down. A silent storm brewing inside. The denouement of a sad life! Like pulverized shards of ice they lay on the floor for sometime and evaporated into thin air without leaving any trace. Now I know where teardrops go

There is such hidden beauty in tears, as you so beautifully depict in your poem, Valsa.  Congratulations on your win.

A wonderful poem Valso. Now we know what happens to tears, they disappear into the atmosphere… Beryl

Psalm 56:8 New Living Translation 8 You keep track of all my sorrows.[a] You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. I do believe God cares this much for us that he knows all our sorrows. I enjoyed reading your touching lines in this work. Even though we cry life goes on, but God knows and understands. Sara K.
