Where Did You Come From

Where did you come from, I do not know. It must have been from heaven above, my little furry angel. I needed you as a new friend, you needed me to save you. We were both adopted, we were both lonely as could be. A day when heaven matched us, a day that turned heavenly. You were more than a queen, you were my angel from heaven. I had to say good-bye, now you are gone for a little while. I know you are waiting, I will be there one day. We will then run and play, we will cuddle and take walks. Life will be once again you and me, what a heavenly place that will be. Date Written: 5/2/2020 ("Rainbow Bridge" Author Unknown) This poem was given to me. It is about pets and their owners. Dear Paula, I see why the rainbow bridge inspired this beautiful poem of yours. Thank you for posting the link. Congratulations on your wonderful second placement that is so deserving. I loved your poem! I agree that when we cross over we again get to meet up with our beloved pets. Blessings XXOO

You hit a soft spot with pet owners. I've had two pomeranians, and both had to be put down at some point due to severe seizures. Furry friends climb inside your heart ... and then they leave. Beautiful poem.

Thank You, for your note. Yes, they do climb right into your heart but they never leave the heart. I hope you looked up the "Rainbow Bridge" on the bottom of my poem. Have a wonderful weekend..............

I like how the separation reminds me of the way we get separated from our pets so often in life. I have had over 7 of them which meant a lot to me but they only hang around in our lives like around ten years. I was lucky with one that last 17!! Cute poem
