Where Did Peace Go

I look around and notice now There's no more respect, somehow We've lost all our sense of pride Something happened down inside A lot of people who don't care We used to love, be kind and share Now it's like we don't see How others in misery Ned brightness to finally shine Erasing the darkness they find But they are left all alone Because humanity has flown Far away from where we were I just know one thing for sure If we do not get it back we are leaving a huge crack That will just keep getting longer As the hatreds growing stronger Leaving the world one big mess We are heading towards distress That will not ever get fixed When our souls want to resist The urge to help what have we done It's not a joke or even fun We are getting in big trouble We need to fix this on the double Lets all try, slowly release Some sort of hidden deep down peace
