Where Are You?

I want him so bad, where are you?
My heart I want to give to him, where are you?
Everyday I think about you, but don't know you, where are you?
I've been lost for so long without you, where are you?
I don't understand this predicament I'm in, where are you?
I think I love you so much, where are you?
I want to tell you how I feel and how I've been feeling, where are you?
Is this a game of hide and seek I continue to play with my heart, where are you?
Well maybe I'm asking for too much, because I still don't know where you're at!

I like how the rhetorical questions move this poem along. It seems as if someone must be hiding. Welcome to Poetry Soup and keep writing. Blessings, Joseph
