Where Are You

I wish I could turn the hour hand back To the place you held me Safe in your arms like tower walls where we shared a horizon, watched the same night sky as it dressed itself in robes made of waking up to your sunset stars These days I live upside down Suffocated by the same faces The same four walls and streets howling Like moon-starved beasts I wait for you The cracks getting deeper The time dragging its feet Missing you Needing you But you're not here
