ETERNAL recollected memories
Despite the mists of EVERLASTING time.
Four years have passed so slowly.
BOUNDLESS scenes recorded.
Thus I still reminisce…..
The garden was pure delight,
The evening scent spread afar.
I wondered if I could have
A moment of peace and quiet,
Wandering along the ENDLESS paths.
I saw the most beautiful hibiscus,
Red flaming in the crepuscular,
A single ladybug ran here and there
on a deep red fire of its large petals,
in the hushed sighs of the evening.
Was it searching for its mate?
It’s search UNBROKEN never giving up.
In the patches of well-tilled soil
Grew carpets of yellow tulips,
Heralding the coming of spring.
Dragonflies over the BOTTOMLESS pool
While crickets sang their LIMITLESS melody.
I moved on admiring nature’s life.
There in the middle of the garden
Another pond adorned the landscape.
Three white swans floated around,
Everything seemed so peaceful…..
A bell rang heralding closing time.
On such a day we were on a bench
Kissing as if time had stopped.
Still, the bell incessantly rang.
Alas, it was time for me to go home,
Which I reluctantly did, well knowing
My house was simply hauntingly empty.
I could not help but continue with my INFINITE grief.
