Where Are My Friends

Where are my friends?
Who are they?
When I get in trouble
What do they say?
I am locked up
Looking at a cell
And all they can say is
My friend is in jail
All these people that have my back
NO helping hands
Sounds a little slack
Trying to find the definition of friend
If I am locked up you will not be celebrating
There will be no shopping
Or no bar hopping
But you will be at the bondman
Straight money dropping
Where are my friends?
The definition
If I fall you help me up
If I cry you wipe my tears
If I am scared you ease my fears
When I need a counselor you give your ears
When I have none you give me some
Friends Unite
Sometimes we fight
Friends always donate their hearts
Friends push you further
Friends sister or brothers
Where are my friends?
Will they be there till the end?
Friends

I think when we are at our most desperate times, we learn who are friends are for the first time.
