When You'Re With Me

It was a gray overcast day Humid and ordinary to anybody else But it to me it was special in every way We met up at this little place Over your food and my drink we talked I barely touched it cause there's nothing I'd rather look at than your face I take you naturally in like oxygen when you're with me On a gray day we set a fire at our table Everything else just melted away I liked the way I made you laugh Your face fell into your hands I loved the way you smiled at me And when we took a walk in the parking lot Everything else is what I forgot Just an ordinary place But the best thing was that smile on your face That's when you said "I'm so happy" I love it when you're with me The sun was setting as we were resting by the water I was sitting on the rail as we spoke The way you really looked at me I'm not sure if I'm drowning in you or floating on you like water I liked the way you looked up as me as you stood by me while I sat I loved the way you smiled at me So you drove me home I loved it when you said I was yours Sitting beside you it felt so right It's crazy to say but maybe, possibly this is how we should live our lives My favorite passenger seat is yours Cause it's so right when you're with me This is where I want to be Anywhere is beautiful as long as you're with me
