When You'Re Mine

When you're mine
my feelings are fine
when your not
my feelings are shocked
I gave you my heart
I gave you my soul
but most of all
I gave you a show
my feelings are hurt
because of your work
I must go now to lie down
I must be asleep to be at peace
this is the street of Saint Louis
when street lights go off
its nothing but a block
with no laughing kids
and no playful songs
when your mine
I definitely might die
in this lonely sweet bed
is where I say amen.
