When Destiny Meets Determination
Tell me your destiny
Tell me who you're meant to be
Are you really determined
Everything in life
Have you really earned it
Tell me your dreams
And how they can be filled
Lets start with ourselves
Keeping it real
Acknowledging we all make mistakes
But I'm determined
To provide food on my plate
Not burgers but steaks
This can be great, who i want to be is me
In a world , that looks at me than just a girl , i symbolize a pearl
So pure and white
So elegantly made
I am phenomenal, that i wouldn't trade
When my destiny starts to look bright
Like a light, then its time to take new flights , to new heights, in life
But taking new heights
Comes with a sacrifice
Cant take an elevator
Have to climb the steps
No longer the easy way out
We all need help
To feel success, even at our lowest points
God sees our best
Ill confess without hesitation
This is what happens
