When You Were a Kid

Recall when we did things just because
And an all day sucker really was?
When Daddy knew all there was to know
And your shoes were purchased with room to grow?
The days were long and snuggly warm
And nothing on Earth could bring you harm.
Worry was something your mother did
And living was joy when you were a kid.

Yes, I remember. We should somehow be allowed to take mini vacations and return for a few days at least, to the mind of the child we were. If only. Love, shar

Hi Joyce I loved it when I was a kid I used to play football all the time. I sometimes got into mischief but thinking about it I still am. Brought back loads of memories. God Bless. Leon
