Notes About The Poem

for Noble tranquility...

When You Are Away

I wish the sun / wouldn’t set / when you are away. / I wish the moon / wouldn’t catch a-golden / when you are away. / I wish the stars would stay a-slumber / when you are away. / I wish the breezes wouldn’t lift me / when you are away. / I wish the sun / wouldn’t rise / when you are away. / I wish the moon / wouldn’t dawnily bluesilver / when you are away. / I wish the clouds / wouldn’t wisp and dance and curl and tumblepile and float and dayglow and scatter and roll / when you are away. / I wish the breeze’d stop ceasing / when you are away.

How very pretty and romantic! A joy to read, felt like such a caress. Blessings ... CayCay

A caress! What a deliriously wondrous choice of word. I am so smiley to think these words I lent the world pricked a word so loving as caress from thee. Thankily thank thank you!
