Folk commit heinous crimes we hear it on the news senseless stabbings multiple shootings Bang! Bang! Bang! So many innocent victims lose their lives Callous cold blooded killers get locked up in a cell some live for many years on ‘death row’ they get reprieve after reprieve sadly the victim’s families have a life sentence and yet they call this justice 12/18/18

You express your thoughts without beating round the bush, Jan. Justice must not only be served, but it must be seen being served! ~ Congratulations on your podium finish. (I wonder if that plane has arrived yet!!) Hugs // paul

While I don't believe in the death penalty, the way you presented your thoughts is excellent, Jan. The Catholic religion teaches that only God should take a life. Congratulations on your third-place win in a contest with very strong competition! Best wishes for the holidays, Carolyn

It's an emotive subject Carolyn, I read that Moors Murderer Myra Hindley turned to Catholicism when she was in prison. I wonder if she got absolved for her heinous crimes:-( hugs Jan xx

For justice to be served, we need to pull the plug on taxpayer-funded attorney fees for convicted felons! Life sentences would be best served at sea collecting plastic waste! Good show, Jan! Aloha! Rico

I like your take on "justice" which is a paradox of "injustice". Well done Jan, well done indeed!

What makes my blood boil is they have the best medical care, get a degree, earn money and some even 'run' the prison's. And as you say the victims have it a lot worse. That's not justice, what happened to hard labour ?

Some have been on death row over 30 years, it is so cruel in so many ways and the victims families have a life sentence and some never get closure:-( hugs Jan xx
