When Was It

When was the last time you gave someone a hug Just because they were needing it What about just paid someone a nice compliment Without anything proceeding it Or even just offered someone a ride That would not have made it otherwise Or just brighten a lonely child's day With some type of kid surprise When was the last time you gave of yourself Without looking for something in return How about just listen to someone else problems And showed a little concern We are all just people caught up in ourselves And even though we are considered equal We are not concerned with anyone else I know it’s a harsh taste of reality And if you think the shoe don’t fit Then go back over these questions And ask yourself (when was it)
