When They Meet Again

When they meet again……

All those lights fade…
Met face to face,
With a fake smile.
Wanted to become friends,
But all those fake promises,
Made them feel like strangers.
All those jovial memories,
Turned into a formal conversation.
Wanted to get back,
But they couldn't,
Their ego ceased…..
Finally moved on ,
With the broken hearts,
Like a star in the sky.….

I deduce this from: "Wanted to become friends, But all those fake promises ...." It could apply to INTERNET dating, & many scenarios. ThanX (but re-check for punctuation. eg.
