When the soul-stars dream and die to say goodbye allowing the universe to unfold as the leaf of life sleeps upon my lips my heart's pulse will beat beneath the horizon's glow so, I may be born in the sunset of a restless womb to cry out with my first breath where I ask the trembling sky to greet the earth as neither dusk or dawn can delude me from nurturing my days of illusions and fantasies of enchanted love where my dreamer's dreams bloom into a misty realm of turbulent lovers that drift through the dim-lit shadows of my mind where I journey with the memories made, long forgotten seeking answers to unresolved questions that haunt my soul that stirs in the night where sleep is a guest that leaves before dawn to leave my blind eyes open starring into the darkness, confused by decisions made without thought or reason placing the stones pulled from my life's river on sacred ground to be the foundation of my soul where it stands alone on an undecided path that leads to a universe of wishes that hides in the thorny brambles of my aged passage through time where I seek the...why...of all the loves that have passed through my various lives where I am the eyes of time blinded from my ancient form carrying the scars of choices burned in my soul by the flame of passion, that is my sherpa guide leading me toward an enduring ending without fear or reservation where the foliage of farewell cries out oh fall, let this lore of love be the last
