When
the
Portal
Appears
It was the last time someone would patronize me
Man or woman, for any reason
Prayer had led to a new revelation
Like walking through a portal
To a kingdom where self-worth and courage reign
The surge of power was spontaneous
Inexplicable in tangible terms
Gazing at an illuminated path
Intrigue built within
I could not change the focus of my fixation
Armed only with newfound courage
I proceed along the road
And navigate through its intense light
To a kingdom of harmony and peace
When asked about faith
Don't hesitate
Search in your darkest hours
You'll find it at the end of the light
