When the Plague Strikes Covid-19
We are only here for a little while, never knowing what may come our way,
From birth, and throughout life, growing to decay, we live, we die day by day.
Today we taste life, but tomorrow may smell of sickness and death,
From breathing and living – then gasping for our next breath,
There is nothing new under the sun—whoever said life is nothing but fun?
Find meaning in this blessed moment, whether you are sick or well,
God blesses this fallen world, and from here is either Heaven or Hell.
So may we all give careful thought to what we believe,
And careful thought while we sit and grieve
for those who may perish, and for what all deserve.
But my hope is in Jesus Christ – Paradise awaits, so I will persevere!
