When the Moon and Stars Dont Look Eye to Eye
When the moon and stars don`t look eye to eye,
To shun catalytic blasts in the sky
And forestall dull deafening deadly wrath,
It`s wise for them to pursue discrete path.
When the burning flame of love no more shines
Between moon and stars, short or long entwined,
It`s for the best to go separate ways
Than to live like a cat and dog all days.
When the glow of love is at its dead end,
When relations are past the stage to mend,
It behoves sage minds from their ways to part
And not at each other cursing to dart.
When travelling on a road together
Turns to squally swearing at each other,
It is upright for the journey to end
And each to take distinct paths at the bend.
To linger aloof would give rise to pain
And hot sizzling smouldering seams of strains;
Quitting the shared route after reflection,
Parting each his own path is best option.
It sets the spirit of the two souls free
To shine as the self, they each wish to be,
Not to nurture anger and bitter words,
Not to fight each other with pointed swords.
It allows them to breathe the air that glides
And stroll paths where new horizons reside,
As clinging to the ghost of the sad past,
Prevents the honest chance of peace to last.
The separate drive is the kindest deed,
The needed sowing of an upright seed
For self-renewal, separate and whole,
To mend the fragments of two wrangling souls.
