When Shadows Come

When shadows come they
seem to hover above like
a cloak tries to consume
your soul
Only God can bring you
light power and his might
God gives us the ability or
capacity to act
or do something effectively,
and achieving something we
thought was impossible
He gives us the strength to
make it through the darkest of
nights
Though we face many storms
in our lives
The thing I'm learning about
storms are that they come far
and few between and some
storms last a long time
No matter what the case
maybe only God can set us
free from the pain and misery
Only joy happiness can be
found in Christ, we won't find
true happiness in people, places,
or things
It's God put the joy back in
our hearts and give us a new song
