When News Is of No Use

People look naturally for news an inner desire to know all so much time spent on this you think nothing mattered at all Why Oh why is this so real? living and seeking for more fills the mind as much as you can the need is to find an open door Look at life see all you see so much to take in to learn anew learn from communication to one having insight to be always true Mr. Jefferson, a statesman indeed spoke negatively about people who read the news that holds them so firm becomes their idol by daily seed Thomas J. wisely confirmed in truth better never to take a glance to look rather be disciplined in your mind pin your eyes to learn from one good book (Quote: " The man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them." - Thomas Jefferson (1743-1846) 3rd US President.)

A "Creative" News Write. I know people that are driving themselves crazy with the news. Just turn it off. Read a good book or some poems and enjoy God's life. Have a blessed day......................

I follow the main news topics, but often am left puzzled by the opposing conclusions of the same news items! Of course, reading books is something I would always recommend. ~ Regards // paul

Hi Gordon! With so much omitted news about political candidates that their parties don't want us to know, and so much fake news, your poem really spoke to me. I'd rather have a good book too, then read news or watch it. Well penned!

I take the news in papers with a pinch of salt Gordon. Too many half truths and fake news for my liking. Enjoy your weekend. Tom
