Notes About The Poem
This Form is called a Miniature. In lieu of writing a Tanka or Haiku or one of the many small forms that were created for a completely different language. The Miniature accommodates the English language. I think this Form could draw in a younger audience to love poetry. In their fast paced world Epic poems may be too much. A Haiku or a Tanka or the many short forms available might confuse the reader with their tight rules and restrictions. Hence the miniature. A small concise poetic message.
When Lovers Part
When two lovers of days past, relive
the same memory, at exactly the same time,
they touch once again, from where ever they are.
