When Love Works

he stands out a mile in a crowded room
hes puts a smile on your face and takes away your gloom

your heart skips a beat when he holds your hand
your not his bird or chick or any kind of brand

he sweeps you off your feet and showers you with kisses
writes you love letters when its your heart he misses

is like your rock when things are tough
is like your bodyguard when things get rough

you feel weak at the knees when he hugs you goodbye
you miss him already you try not to cry

you love his warmth body and soul
and with this man you want to grow old
