We've all seen those Hallmark stories
The ones too good to be true
Where there's a perfect love connection
That fate miraculously brings to you
So will tomorrow just be another day
Of distant dreams and fairy tales
What if...
Love breathes us in
Oh, everything changes
Cupid's dart...
Goes straight through the heart
All the loneliness ends
And a new life begins

Your unknown soulmate's dreaming too
Both lost in true love's longing
So soon to awake to "I love you"
Seems like doubt is always raining
Feels like hope is an empty plea
But what if "what's been" is lost

Note: This write was inspired by a comment a fellow poet made to one of my poems. She used this phrase, "when love breathes us in" I thought it was such a beautiful line I built this song around it. I hope you've enjoy!
