When It Rains

It was right after the sky had turn dark
My life change or more like I walked off my path
Every time it rains despair comes down
Sucking me into a black hole
No matter how much I try to break free
Demons demand a ransom from me
Rain rain go away that's all I could pray
But barrels rumble through the sky taking my fear away

As I stare through the window waiting for the rain to stop
My mind shifted on the path I once walk
Wishing I was that boy again
Thinking I was so close but yet faraway
Holding on to this youthful desire
Of wanting to be the best at what I do

After the rain I tend to forget what happen that day
For when I open my eyes the sky is clear
And for some reason I feel better in every single way
