When Im With You
There is a certain time and a certain place,
A certain smile on a certain face,
That can make me feel alive
Sometimes I wonder just what would have been
If I could just somehow go back and turn now into then
Every once and awhile when I close my eyes the truth becomes clear as I shed a tear and slowly realize
There's not much in this world that I haven't gone and done all wrong
Please shine your light back into my life because without you, it's been dark for so long
As I sit here and remember everything that once was, I find it hard to begin everything I need to say
Because I still hear your voice in the night and even all the drugs in the world couldn't make the memories of you begin to fade away
So take a look in my eyes, and threw them into my soul and see
That when I'm with you there is a lot less wrong with me
