When I'M Old

Set me on a cloud Shout me way out loud Listen as I sing Dance with me when it rains Wear me when I'm cold Love me when I'm old And I'll always be your convivial soul Watching the sun set down, I'm running out of this town On a wing of tousled pride To where the mountains reside I'm friends with all the stars We hang in my backyard They bring the planets and rings We sit around and we sing Sometimes I crash with the waves Sometimes I'm with them for days And let me because I'm their convivial soul Watching the bonfire burn, I'm waiting for my turn To set the world in disguise so you can see through my eyes 'Till then I'm drinking rotten wine Keeping my head down I don't have the time if the earth is still spinning around
