When I'M 30 Or 40 Or 50

I planted a branch
of a willow tree
Then buried a bird in a
coffee can
under my tree to be

I shot the bird dead
in the head
w/ my gun
I think I was 10
I hated me then
and again . . .

When I’m 30 or 40 or 50.
