When I Was Young

When I was young my life was just one lovely journey waiting to begin. It didn’t matter
where I was or what there was to do. I wandered here and there the direction did not
matter as long as there were friends to care. Nothing but time we had to burn years
passed changes happened. We finally learned that we cannot reach our goal without a
plan. As time goes on we have to be more careful what we choose because the years
are growing shorter the stakes are getting higher we can’t afford to lose.

I'm an expert at wasting years. Good reflective write. It's too bad we can't combine the wisdom of age with the energy of youth. Vince
