When I Think About Us...

When I think about us,
my eyes recall the way
they looked at you looking at me
with that I've got to have you gaze

and how in your reflection
mine said the same

I think about your tongue
and the way it spoke it's charm
in an irresistible language
that words alone could never define

I think about how our attraction
is not about love,
how it's only a simple emotion
born from a passionate stance
of merely wanting without denial
and acting with pure honest admission

I think about the air
and the way it pricked my lungs
as they exhaled the sweet unison
of fruitful desires and orgasms
that still vibrates madly beneath my flesh

I think about the future
and what it beholds for lovers like us,
on how fearless we are in togetherness
yet so afraid of the mystery

in solitude
