When God Made Me
When God made me
He blessed me with a big heart,
He told me the secret of life
Would not be found on any chart.
When God made me
He filled me with a sensitive brain,
He told me the secret of humanity
Would be to feel someone's pain.
When God made me
He gave me the ability to see,
He told me the secret of love
Would be hidden deep inside of me.
When God made me
He filled me with a spirited dream,
He told me the secret of success
Would not be so easily seen.
When God made me
He constructed me with a strong desire,
He told me the secret of my dreams
Would be fueled by my own fire.
When God made me
He finished with true pride,
He told me the secret of beauty
Would be found only on the inside.
