When God Called You

Decisions you have made
Selfless and sacrificing
No thought of consequence
Done for love

It was a heavy price you paid
Broken in unmatchable pieces
You made it your burden
Although God already forgive

A daughter you were given
A new start by God
But those pieces
Could not fit

A man He gave you
A possible unlikely match
You both worked
And love grew

Obstacles you faced
Mountains ahead
You climbed and fell
You got up and fought.
The unlikely match
Became so identical
Every light and every flaw
Both became one.

Your demons inside
Ate you alive
No one really knew
Hardcore they all thought

But that a shield
You carried
Your soft tender side
You kept hid

The broken pieces
Was shattered
No recovering that
And that is when God called you
