It takes balls to be a real dad, but some men are mere sperm donors!

Jan, this is actually a very sensitive subject as there are dads who do not spend adequate time with their children or who abuse them. It relates to many of the problems we have in our society. Many people don't understand what being a parent is about and the lesson the kid learns is not a good one.

Sad, and true. Sadly moms can be the same way. I read your comment to Arther below in the comments. I too was rejected but by my mom for being a girl, expected to be a boy. She decided to try to make me her dream child by having my long hair cut shorter than many boys at school, and made me dress in boy clothes and shoes. My dad, happily was not happy with that, and though I had the short haircut, dressed in girl clothes thanks to him, my hair grew back. Parents can be so rotten sometimes.

Thanks Victor, I recall the picture from my childhood - its to do with the civil war - the poor mother must be distraught knowing the child will probably tell the truth. hugs jan xx

So true Jan, some men are not fit to look after a dog, never mind a child. Tom

Balls as a body part are quite a bit different from the kind needed to be a responsible father.

Sad to read that Art and I know other people can relate from childhood experience and some men are just turds towards their children - I was never close to mine - he wanted a boy and got me:-( hugs jan x
