This is such a fun, nostalgic list poem... love the reference to Nancy Sinatra's "boots made for walking" (I was crazy about that song growing up... and it still makes me smile).

*sheepish grin* Maybe "makes me smile" was something of an understatement... I still belt this song out pretty loudly, too!

I love that song to this day, I can sing it, and sometimes do, loudly!

Ah! You remembered, "Underdog"! So many have forgotten...Remember, "Mighty Mouse", too? A great look back at when things were a little more fascinating; our world is so, monotone now. I still listen to the "Grand Ole Opry" on WSM. Just can't let it go!

I love Under Dog - this was the first cartoon we ever saw in color. We had a new color TV in 1964, and the TV Guide listed what was in color. We got it on a Friday night, and we could barely sleep, because Under Dog was going to be in color in the morning. We were shocked his suit was red, we had always thought it was blue!
